ROOVER APPS LIMITED (“ROOVER”, “we”, “us”) operates the MovieRulz website (including pages at getmovierulz.app) and the MovieRulz mobile experience on iOS. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with those services. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website and app.
1. Information we collect
Website. When you browse our site, our hosting provider may log standard technical data (for example IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not use the public website to create a named user account unless you later authenticate through the app or another service we offer.
App. The iOS app may collect information you provide and data needed to operate features (such as watchlists or preferences), in line with Apple’s platform rules and the privacy disclosures shown in the App Store listing. This policy focuses on the website; refer to in-app notices and the App Store “App Privacy” section for app-specific details.
Third-party content. Some pages display film and TV metadata from third parties such as The Movie Database (TMDB). Loading that content may cause your browser to contact TMDB or image hosts directly. Those services have their own privacy policies.

We use information to operate, secure, and improve our services; respond to you when you contact us; comply with law; and protect our rights and users.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with vendors who help us host or operate our services (under contractual safeguards), when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger) subject to appropriate notice where required.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law.
