Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to the MovieRulz website and related web experiences operated by ROOVER APPS LIMITED (“ROOVER”, “we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. The MovieRulz iOS application may be subject to additional terms presented in the App Store or within the app.

1. The service

MovieRulz helps you discover movies and TV shows and learn where content may be available. We do not stream video on this website. Playback happens in third-party services you already use, always subject to their own terms and geographic restrictions.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site: no unlawful activity, no interference with security or performance, no automated scraping that burdens our infrastructure without permission, and no attempt to reverse engineer non-public parts of the service except where permitted by law.

3. Intellectual property

The MovieRulz name, branding, site design, and original content are owned by ROOVER or its licensors. Film titles, posters, and descriptive text may come from licensors such as TMDB and remain the property of their respective owners. Your use of third-party marks is subject to those owners’ guidelines.

4. Disclaimer

The site and all information are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Availability, ratings, and metadata may be inaccurate or out of date. Always confirm with your streaming or purchase provider before relying on any single source.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ROOVER and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the site. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the site is limited to the greater of fifty dollars (USD) or the amount you paid us specifically for the web service in the twelve months before the claim (if any).

6. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify ROOVER against claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Changes

We may modify these Terms or the site. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree, stop using the site.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to ROOVER APPS LIMITED’s place of incorporation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
